The patients were diagnosed with PH in 66% (n=233) of the patients. In all, there were no significant differences in mean age, mean body mass index (BMI) and mean age between the men and women. In men, there was a lower level of the International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF-EF) score in men with PH compared to men with benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH).
A significant difference was found between the men and women in the IIEF-EF score in men with PH. The lower the IIEF-EF score, the more pronounced the improvement in men's IIEF-EF scores. In women, the IIEF-EF score in men with PH was higher compared to men with benign prostatic hypertrophy. There was a significant difference in the mean IPR between men with and without PH.
There was no significant difference in the mean IPR between men with and without PH.
